Marin County is still the best place to earn SWEET EQUITY because 'Supply and Demand' is in effect. Yes, Marin is pricier than other communities, but your Investment return is far greater if you stay for the long haul... you see, Marin County does not follow the normal stats for the USA. Marin prices will always continue to go up because of the Pearl S. Buck Legacy in this Gorgeous Coastal County. There is no more space to build; nearly ninety percent (90%) of Marin is set aside as open space; most of it is available for the leisure of its residents. Yes, while the housing market may go up and down, that seems to have less impact on Marin County homes than it has in other regions. Marin is particularly attractive to "those Baby-Boomers", who are often particularly persistent in finding and purchasing their next dream home in a mild climate like Marin with all that open space.

As you have noticed by now, I know this area and it's trends. Marin County is where I began my career in Real Estate, but even before that I purchased my first home in Marin County just out of High School in 1968 and then bought a move-up home in 1971. My daughter was born & raised in San Rafael, and so naturally, I started my Real Estate Career here in Marin County. I am a 7th generation native of this Northbay Paradise. Approximate Location Boundaries: Golden Gate Bridge borders the south end and Novato Canyons border the north end. The eastside is bordered by the SF Bay and the Pacific Ocean on the West side. THIS IS HEAVENLY COUNTRY.

Location Characteristics: Gorgeous Coastal County with lots of walking trails meandering through charming towns with luxurious homes. You will find the Redwood Groves of Muir Woods, Ocean Beaches to surf, Sail boats dotting the San Francisco Bay plus only a short drive to the Wine Country of Sonoma-Napa. Jobs are plentiful across the Golden Gate Bridge into San Francisco. As if all of this is not tempting enough, the temperate weather is the best feature here in Marin County.
