WOODSY SETTING--The community of Fair Oaks is located east of downtown
Sacramento, along the historic American River in a woodsy setting of rolling hills. The community boasts numerous retail shops
and an attractive central "village" that gives it a central focus. The Plaza and Village Park feature a community clubhouse,
outdoor amphitheater and crafts building. An occasional deer or other wildlife can be seen from time to time, particularly
close to the 23-mile long American River Parkway, which stretches from just east of Fair Oaks to near downtown Sacramento.
Biking, hiking and picnicking are available in the parkway.

Approximate Boundaries:Homes overlooking the river can be found in addition
to rentals. U.S. Highway 50 runs along the south of Fair Oaks, leading to Sacramento to the west and to Folsom and Placerville
to the east. Near Fair Oaks are both Lake Natoma and Folsom Lake with sailing, boat, swimming and fishing possibilities.
