May 31, 2013 __  There are 193 active listings on acreage in the rural communities which include Newcastle, Loomis, Penryn, Rural Lincoln, Meadow Vista, Colfax, Weimar, Foresthill & South County of Nevada County.

Of these 193 Active listings, only 8 are REO's (bank owneds), 34 are short sales and 26 of those short sales already have been submitted with offers and are awaiting final lender approval. In addition, there are 84 pending sales with an average of 40 days on market.

In those surrounding rural communities, there were 150 sold listings in the last 3 months, with an average of 61 days on the market . List price to sales price was a solid 98.6% ratio. Prices are holding strong.
